On Wednesday, Al-Zaytona University for Science and Technology organized a specialized training workshop in the field of primary health, as part of the Young Leaders in Primary Health project, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education - Guidance and Counseling Unit and Student Affairs, and in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop came as part of Al-Zaytona University of Science and Technology\u2019s commitment to the safety and efficiency of its students, and to developing their practical and cognitive skills. The training workshop addressed the field of first aid and dealing with shocks, targeting second and third year students from various disciplines, within the first level of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop was attended by a number of representatives from the university and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, along with the university's public relations and student activities staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this context, Dr. Islam Ayadi, Public Relations Officer at Al-Zaytona University for Science and Technology, stressed the importance of these training workshops in shaping the students\u2019 personalities and building their capabilities in vital areas that serve the Palestinian community. She emphasized the university\u2019s keenness to organize such training programs continuously, given their pivotal role in enhancing students\u2019 health awareness and enabling them to deal with emergency situations efficiently and responsibly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For its part, the Guidance, Counseling and Student Affairs Unit at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education explained that this workshop comes within the Ministry\u2019s efforts to improve the quality of higher education outputs, and to ensure their alignment with the needs of the labor market and the requirements of sustainable development, in a way that contributes to building the capabilities of university youth and enhancing their role in serving the Palestinian community, and leading voluntary initiatives in the fields of first aid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This workshop is part of a series of training programs aimed at providing students of Al-Zaytona University for Science and Technology and students of Palestinian universities with the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of primary health, and enhancing their practical readiness to play an active and responsible role in various community work settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
