Al-Zaytoonah University of Science and Technology and Neumont University (Utah) Forge New Academic Partnership
As part of strengthening international academic partnerships, an official meeting was held between Al-Zaytoonah University of Science and Technology, represented by Prof. Daoud Al-Zaatari, and Neumont University in Utah, United States, represented by Dr. Mo Reeder, Vice President for Strategic Partnerships, and Dr. Doug.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Bilal Al-Karkhi, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Mu'tasim Manasra, faculty member in the Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Nafeth Alyan from the University of Pennsylvania.
The session discussed the development of joint academic programs at various levels, with a particular focus on: - artificial intelligence sciences and technologies, - cybersecurity, - advanced software coding and development training programs, - academic knowledge exchange, - participation in conferences that benefit the programs of both universities, - faculty and student exchanges under appropriate conditions, - and exploring cooperation opportunities in technical education and scientific research.
This engagement comes as part of academic institutions’ strategic direction toward building international networks that enhance the quality of education and support initiatives related to innovation and development. The meeting reflects both parties’ commitment to developing impactful international academic partnerships that positively influence education and scientific research.
