Al-Zaytona University of Science and Technology participates in the annual student conference of the Association of Deans of Student Affairs in the United Arab Emirates

Al-Zaytona University for Science and Technology participated in the annual student conference of the Association of Deans of Student Affairs in the Arab World, and the eighth meeting of the association, which was hosted by Al Ain University, the association's headquarters, in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, from January 25 to 29, 2026, under the title

“Artificial Intelligence Without Borders: Students’ Journey Towards the Future”

Dr. Islam Ayadi, representing the Student Affairs Department at Al-Zaytona University of Science and Technology, represented the university at the conference. This participation came within the framework of the university's keenness to enhance its academic and student presence in Arab scientific forums, and to exchange experiences with member universities of the association affiliated with the Association of Arab Universities.

Al-Zaytona University for Science and Technology participated with a scientific research paper that was accepted into the conference proceedings entitled

Design and Evaluation of a Machine Learning-Based Decision-Making Framework for Robotics

Presented by student Hanin Raddad from the College of Engineering and Technology, the research focuses on designing and evaluating a systematic framework based on machine learning to support decision-making in robotic systems. This framework aims to organize and analyze the decision-making process, rather than simply improving numerical results, by integrating several factors related to the robot's state and environment, and evaluating decision behavior using different models. This contributes to a deeper understanding and more reliable decisions in robotic applications.

Dr. Islam Ayadi emphasized that this participation reflects Al-Zaytona University of Science and Technology's commitment to developing its student affairs system and enhancing its role in supporting and empowering students academically and in research, in line with the conference's objectives, which focus on employing artificial intelligence in developing the educational process. She also noted the importance of such conferences as strategic platforms for exchanging experiences among student affairs deanships in Arab universities.

The second annual student conference of the Association of Deans of Student Affairs is a specialized scientific platform that seeks to attract researchers from among students and faculty and administrative staff in Arab universities, with the aim of enabling students to present their research and innovative ideas, and highlighting the role of artificial intelligence in developing the educational process and enhancing its outcomes.
