Field visit to the construction sites of Al-Nabali and Al-Faris Company projects in the city of Ramallah.

In the framework of Al-Zaytoonah University of Science and Technology's efforts—and the Faculty of Engineering in particular—to bridge the academic aspect with practical application, the Faculty of Engineering's Department of Architectural Engineering organized a field visit... Field visits to the construction sites of Al-Nabali and Al-Faris companies in the city of Ramallah.

The visit was supervised by Dr. Iman Shuqour and Engineer Omar Anati, who accompanied the students during the tour and guided them to observe the practical aspects related to the engineering courses.

During the visit, the students observed the progress of work in a variety of projects, including excavation sites, building construction sites under execution, as well as finishing stages in Al-Reehan neighborhood and the Ammar Tower in Al-Bireh, in addition to a number of towers under construction in the same city.

The students were received by a group of supervising engineers responsible for project implementation, along with design specialists. The engineering team provided a detailed explanation of the work mechanisms, stages of execution, quality control procedures, and the main engineering challenges encountered in the actual construction of buildings.

At the conclusion of the field tour, the students went to the company’s headquarters, where they were welcomed by a number of engineers who presented an introductory briefing about the company and its fields of work. They also launched an initiative to acquaint the students with future training opportunities available within the company’s projects
