Meeting between Al-Zaytoonah University of Science and Technology and Sinclair Community College (USA) to Enhance Academic Cooperation between Salfit and Dayton.

Al-Zaytoonah University of Science and Technology held a joint meeting with Sinclair Community College in Dayton, United States, aimed at strengthening academic cooperation and knowledge exchange between the two cities.

The university was represented at the meeting by its President, Prof. Daoud Al-Zaatari, while Sinclair Community College was represented by Prof. Derek Petrey, PhD, and Mr. Paul Strozier. The meeting was also attended by representatives from the City of Dayton, including Kevin Lady, Chair of the Twinning Committee, and Youssef Al-Zein, Coordinator of the Committee, in addition to Ms. Inas Abdel Fattah, representative of the Salfit Governorate.

During the meeting, the importance of building effective educational partnerships between the two institutions was emphasized. This includes developing joint academic programs, facilitating student and faculty exchanges, and enhancing opportunities for training and e-learning, all of which contribute to expanding the horizons of academic cooperation between Salfit and Dayton.

Both parties agreed to identify areas of common interest and to begin developing joint academic programs that will be implemented virtually in the initial phase, with plans to expand the scope of cooperation in the coming period.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Al-Zaytoonah University of Science and Technology extends its deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Salfit Governorate and to His Excellency the Governor for their continued support of the university’s efforts in building international partnerships that enhance the standing of both the governorate and the university at the academic and developmental levels.
