As part of Al-Zaytoonah University’s Faculty of Engineering’s commitment to enhancing the practical and applied aspects of the educational process, the Architecture Department organized a scientific visit to the Salfit Martyr Yasser Arafat Hospital.
The visit aimed to provide students with the opportunity to explore the hospital’s architectural design, which will serve as a case study for their academic project to design a general hospital with a capacity of 200 beds.
The delegation was received by the hospital director, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ramhi, accompanied by the director of the engineering department. They guided the students and faculty members on a comprehensive tour of both the old and new hospital buildings. The participants explored various departments and medical facilities and listened to a detailed explanation about the hospital’s design and technical aspects, as well as its development mechanism to serve the local community.
This visit aligns with the faculty’s approach to connecting theoretical studies with practical application, enhancing students’ expertise through field exposure to real-world architectural projects.
