Al-Zaytoonah University for Science and Technology in Salfit announced the provision of ten scholarships for the academic year 2025-2026, aimed at outstanding high school students from Salfit Governorate. This initiative is part of the university’s commitment to supporting the educational journey, promoting student resilience, and encouraging academic excellence in the governorate.
The initiative was commissioned by Professor Dr. Dawood Al-Zaatari, President of the University, in collaboration with the Salfit Governorate. His Excellency the Governor, Mr. Mustafa Taqatqa, announced these scholarships, which include five full scholarships covering 100% of tuition for students with a high school average of 90% or higher, and five partial scholarships covering 50% of tuition for students with an average below 90%. Beneficiaries are required to maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 80% throughout their studies.
These scholarships cover all academic programs offered by the university, except for the nursing program, and applications are to be submitted through the Salfit Governorate administration.
Dr. Islam Ayadi, the university’s Public Relations Officer, represented the university at the announcement, emphasizing the importance of partnerships between the university and national institutions to support the local community.
