AlZaytona University of Science and Technology Signs Memorandum of Understanding with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society

AlZaytona University of Science and Technology in Salfit Governorate signed today a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, aiming to strengthen academic and professional cooperation, and to develop joint training programs and projects that benefit the university’s students and the local community.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the university by Prof. Dawoud Al-Zaatari, President of the University, and on behalf of the society by Mr. Khaled Abu Ghosh, General Director, in the presence of Mr. Mousa Al-Jubah, Chairman of the Board, Dr. Samer Atiya, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Khattab, Head of the Paramedic Department, and several officials from both sides.

The MoU outlines cooperation in several areas, including organizing conferences and workshops, exchanging expertise, providing access to facilities and libraries, and offering practical training opportunities for students in emergency and paramedic programs at the society’s facilities. It also includes the provision of incentive scholarships for the society’s staff, volunteers, and their children to study at the university.

Prof. Dawoud Al-Zaatari emphasized that this MoU reflects the university’s commitment to supporting higher education, developing students’ professional capacities, and strengthening partnerships with national institutions in a manner that serves the Palestinian people.
