Al-Zaytoonah University of Science and Technology signs a strategic partnership agreement with PALPAY to provide it with the latest digital transformation solutions.

Al-Zaytoonah University of Science and Technology has signed a strategic partnership agreement with PALPAY for Prepaid Payment Systems, one of the companies under the Palestine Bank Group, aimed at providing the university with the latest solutions and services for digital transformation.

The agreement was signed at the company's headquarters on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, by Professor Dr. Dawood Al-Za'atri, President of the University, and Mr. Thaer Hamayel, General Manager of PALPAY, in the presence of Professor Musa Ja'aba, Chairman of the University Board of Directors, Dr. Samer Attiya, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs, along with representatives from the Arab Islamic Bank and PALPAY Company.

The agreement aims to enhance electronic payment services at the university, including the settlement of university installments and various financial transactions through POS machines and the "Mahfati" application, in addition to free Visa cards and e-commerce services. This will alleviate the burdens on students and their families by providing them with modern and secure payment solutions.

Professor Dr. Dawood Al-Za'atri affirmed that this partnership comes within the framework of the university's strategic vision aimed at providing a modern educational environment that relies on financial technology and keeps pace with global developments. He pointed out that the introduction of digital payment solutions aligns with the university's orientation towards serving its students and facilitating their academic and financial transactions.

For his part, Mr. Thaer Hamayel expressed PALPAY's pride in this collaboration with Al-Zaytoonah University, emphasizing the company's commitment to providing the latest digital payment solutions that enhance service efficiency and support the universities' and educational institutions' orientations towards digital transformation and financial inclusion.
