In the context of Al-Zaytoonah University of Science and Technology's efforts to link the academic aspect with practical application, the Intermediate Technical College – Interior Design Diploma organized an educational field visit... and recreational to the Palestinian Museum in Birzeit and the city of Rawabi, on Tuesday, corresponding to December 23, 2025, with the participation of the diploma students.

The visit was supervised by Professor Salwa Bouzia, Professor Israa Zbida, and Professor Iqbal Al-Khatib, and aimed to enhance students' applied knowledge and enable them to directly observe real-life models related to the interior design specialization.

The visit included a field tour inside the Palestinian Museum, during which the students learned about the design and architectural concepts adopted in designing museum spaces, in addition to gaining insight into the operational and organizational aspects that are not visible to the public (back-end), and the mechanisms of work that contribute to managing interior spaces and displaying content in a style that balances function and aesthetics.

The visit also included a tour in the city of Rawabi, during which the students learned about the city's urban planning and the most prominent modern architectural styles adopted in it, in addition to understanding the relationship between interior design and the surrounding urban environment, which contributes to broadening their professional horizons and linking the theoretical aspect with practical application.

This visit comes as part of the extracurricular activities that the Intermediate Technical College is keen to organize, with the aim of honing students' skills, enhancing their readiness for the job market, and opening new horizons for them in the field of interior design.
