Overview
The Electrical Elevators and Escalator Technology Program is a specialized technical program designed to train skilled technicians in the installation, maintenance, and operation of modern electric elevator and escalator systems. The curriculum covers elevator components such as conveyors, motors, electrical and electronic control systems, as well as safety and alarm systems.
The program aims to graduate technicians who are both scientifically and practically qualified to service various types of elevators and escalators in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, ensuring their efficient and safe operation.
Students gain the knowledge needed to diagnose faults, perform routine maintenance, and manage maintenance teams in workshops, while adhering to professional safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Furthermore, the program includes occupational health and safety principles to protect lives and property during the operation and maintenance of elevator and escalator systems.

Successful completion of the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) or its equivalent from any stream.
