Overview
The Integrated Security Systems Program is a vital technical program that prepares specialized personnel in the design, installation, and maintenance of modern security and protection systems, including surveillance camera systems, burglary and fire alarm systems, access control systems, and electronic protection systems used in critical institutions and facilities.
It prepares graduates who are academically and practically qualified to work in diverse environments such as companies, factories, and public and private institutions. Students receive training in the use of the latest technologies and equipment and gain an understanding of international standards for facility security.
The curriculum also covers key areas such as public safety concepts, emergency planning, and disaster recovery, enhancing graduates’ ability to develop integrated systems that safeguard lives and property while ensuring business continuity under emergency conditions.

Vision:
To be a leading program in Palestinian higher education that develops highly skilled professionals in integrated security and safety systems, capable of designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive security solutions for a wide range of facilities, thereby enhancing the safety and protection of institutions and their assets.
Mission:
The program aims to address the growing need for security and safety expertise in Palestine by providing students with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical skills in integrated systems, including fire protection, early warning systems, safety equipment, access control, surveillance, and information security. It seeks to prepare graduates to meet market demands, manage large-scale projects such as hospitals, commercial complexes, administrative buildings, factories, residential buildings, warehouses, and towers, and to oversee the design, installation, maintenance, and supervision of these systems. The program leverages the university’s existing infrastructure to ensure students gain hands-on experience in this emerging and essential field.
Program Objectives
The proposed program aims to serve large institutions and companies that require the protection of their resources through a centralized integrated system. Its objectives include:
- Graduating qualified youth capable of working in the field of integrated security systems for both public and private sectors.
- Enhancing the expertise of professionals in planning and safeguarding company resources against loss.
- Equipping students with essential technical skills related to the installation and management of alarm systems, fire protection systems, data security, and theft prevention.

Admission Requirements
The program targets recent high school graduates who have achieved a minimum average of 50% in all scientific and literary streams. It also welcomes professionals working in firefighting, theft prevention, access control systems, and human resources in private institutions who wish to develop their skills and knowledge, provided they have successfully completed the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi).
