Overview
The Public Relations Department serves as the vital link between AlZaytona University of Science and Technology – Salfit and the general public, as well as the university’s partners and stakeholders. The department is also responsible for managing relationships with host communities, the national community, and the media. It reflects the university’s actual perspective and acts as the channel that communicates the vision and objectives of AlZaytona University of Science and Technology.

Mission
- Liaise with local community institutions..
- Provide logistical equipment related to the nature of public relations work for faculties, departments, and centers..
- Organize marketing activities targeting high school students..
- Receive visits from high schools and organize visits for students at their schools..
- Design all university print materials..
- Publish news, reports, and media materials about the university across various media outlets..
- Publish university advertisements in different media..
- Monitor media coverage about the university..
- Receive visiting delegations and organize visit programs.
Public Relations Units
First: Activities and Protocol Unit
Includes:
- Activities and Protocol
- Follow up on activities and events held at the university administratively, technically, and protocol-wise..
- Receive visiting delegations from university students, official delegations, and foreign visitors.
- Provide reception and protocol committees for various activities.
- Organize and participate in local exhibitions..
- Participate in guidance workshops for school students.
- Organize numerous cultural and artistic activities..
- School Visits
- Full coordinationof school visitsthrough communication with education directorates in all governorates.
- Schedule and host school visits at the university.
- Conduct field visits to schools to introduce the university.
- Participate in orientation days at several schools within education directorates.
Second: Design and Social Media Unit
Includes:
Social Media
- Manage and monitor the university’s social media pages(Instagram, Facebook).
- Prepare statistics, analyses, and reports related to social media platforms..
- Respond to messages received from the public via Facebook.
- Manage and coordinate archiving of videos related to the university, its students, and academic staff on the university website and YouTube channel.
Design
- Design university printed materials, brochures, and newsletters.
- Design conference materials (invitations, folders, brochures, certificates, posters, logos, etc.).
- Create designs for the official university website and social media platforms.
Photography and Video Editing
- Photograph university activities and events (conferences, workshops, visitors, schools, graduation projects), with images published in news, university bulletins, and on the website.
- Photograph university faculties, centers, various campuses, and campus life.
- Produce university-specific films.
- Conduct video interviews for publishing on the university website and produce video content for social media platforms.
