The Nursing Program is an essential health science program designed to prepare skilled professionals with both the theoretical knowledge and practical expertise required to deliver comprehensive patient care across diverse healthcare settings. The curriculum covers foundational medical and nursing sciences, patient care techniques, emergency management, and effective communication with patients and their families.

The Nursing Diploma program aims to provide students with a solid foundation of theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and applied nursing competencies. It prepares graduates to effectively practice the nursing profession across various healthcare departments and treatment units, delivering medical, psychological, and social care to patients while meeting the evolving demands of the healthcare sector.
Program Objectives
General Objective of the Intermediate Nursing Diploma:
To prepare and qualify nurses with high levels of scientific and practical expertise,
capable of serving individuals, communities, and patients by providing safe nursing care based on Palestinian and international quality standards.
Graduates will be able to perform effectively in all healthcare facilities.
Specific Objectives:
Upon graduation, the student will be able to:
1- Apply theoretical concepts from nursing, biological, and social sciences when developing nursing care plans
for patients and their families.
2- Collaborate effectively with patients, their families, and other members of the healthcare team.
3- Provide health education based on the needs of the individual, family, and community.
4- Demonstrate care and concern for patients and their families.
5- Perform nursing skills safely and accurately.
6- Apply the nursing process when delivering care to patients and their families.
7- Explain treatment methods through communication and follow-up.
8- Adhere to and uphold professional nursing ethics.
Learning Outcomes
• The program aims to supply the local market with graduates holding a diploma in nursing who possess the following qualities:
• Practical and applied skills that qualify the graduate to work in various nursing fields.

Admission Requirements
The program targets graduates of the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) from both the scientific and literary streams. The minimum admission requirements are:
– 55% for the scientific stream
– 60% for the literary stream
