Overview
Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technology program is offered for the first time at Palestinian universities. This program is designed to prepare highly qualified specialists in HVAC technology. HVAC technology encompasses a range of methods and systems used to regulate temperature, humidity, and air quality within enclosed spaces.
With the growing demand for skilled professionals in this field, the program addresses a critical need for expertise that supports the nation’s growth and development. The program aims to respond to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research by offering a first-of-its-kind technical program in HVAC technology. It seeks to equip students with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical skills, preparing them to meet market needs, create new employment opportunities, and address the shortage of specialized expertise in the surrounding community.
Goals
The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) specialization is considered a new and rare field in Palestine. Its importance has recently increased due to modern developments in HVAC technologies. This program aims to:
- Graduate students specialized in HVAC who are capable of competing in the job market, through a curriculum that integrates theoretical concepts with practical application to meet the market’s demand for skilled and distinguished graduates in this field.
- Provide comprehensive knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning concepts, as well as the programs, methods, and tools used in the field.
- Establish a foundation for students to apply systematic approaches and professional standards in analyzing, designing, and implementing HVAC projects in environments that closely simulate real-world conditions.
