Dr. Heba Numan Assad is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Business and Administration at Al-Zaytona University of Science and Technology. She got a Ph.D. in Accounting and Finance from the Arab American University. She also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Birzeit University.
Her academic qualifications, combined with professional experience in accounting and finance, integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications in the teaching process. She is dedicated to creating an engaging learning environment that encourages students to develop their knowledge, analytical abilities, and professional skills, preparing students to meet the demands of the accounting profession by integrating academic theory with practical insights.
Her teaching and research interests include accounting, auditing, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), corporate governance, financial disclosure, corporate social responsibility, and financial performance. She has authored several peer-reviewed publications in Scopus-indexed journals and has presented many research papers at international academic conferences held in Madrid, Seville, Istanbul, and Paris. Besides, she actively contributes to research initiatives and continuously pursues professional development to enhance accounting education and promote academic excellence.
