Dr. Wajeeh Mustafa Sarsour is an Assistant Professor of Financial Mathematics and Statistics at Alzaytona University of Science & Technology. He possesses a distinguished academic and teaching career, currently serving as an Instructor in the Faculty of Business & Administration at Alzaytona University. His core research and academic interests lie in advanced quantitative fields, including applied statistics, financial mathematics, financial management, and stochastic modeling, with a specialized focus on forecasting long-run investment behavior using Markov Chain approaches. Throughout his academic tenure, he has developed and taught a comprehensive array of specialized courses ranging from Biostatistics, Applied Statistics, and Financial Mathematics to Calculus, Modern Algebra, and Numerical Analysis. As an active researcher, Dr. Wajeeh has contributed significantly to global scholarship by publishing high-impact papers in reputable international journals indexed in leading databases such as ISI and Scopus, alongside presenting simulation models at international scientific conferences like MathTech and participating in advanced workshops utilizing software such as Wolfram Mathematica, MATLAB, SPSS, and Stata. He holds a Ph.D. in Financial Mathematics from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics from Birzeit University, and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from An-Najah National University, and he remains dedicated to delivering a comprehensive pedagogical model that bridges complex theoretical frameworks with practical real-world financial applications.
