Al-Zaytuna University for Science and Technology and the Palestinian Student Support Fund Association are exploring ways to strengthen their partnership.

A delegation from the Palestinian Student Support Fund Association (PSSF), including the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Khalil Khalil, and members and contributors of the association, visited the campus of Al-Zaytouna University for Science and Technology, and met with the President of the University, Professor Dr. Daoud Al-Zaatari, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University, Professor Musa Al-Ja’ba, a number of members of the Board of Directors, the Vice President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Fahoum Al-Shalabi, the Financial and Administrative Director, Dr. Samer Atieh, and the official in charge of the Palestinian Student Support Fund Association (PSSF) file, Dr. Islam Ayadi, where the two sides discussed ways to enhance the partnership to support the educational journey of Palestinian students.

For his part, Dr. Al-Zaatari welcomed the visiting delegation and praised the importance of the strategic relationship that links Palestinian universities in general with the Palestinian Student Support Fund Association, and the important role of the association in preserving the educational journey of the children of Palestine, and the continuity of its excellence, through providing scholarships for students in Palestinian universities.

In the same context, Professor Al-Ja’ba pointed out that the university is keen to continue providing assistance and support to its students, as it always seeks to consolidate strong strategic relationships with many local and international institutions and organizations. We are honored to continue the strategic cooperation with the PSSF Fund and enhance the partnership, in order to achieve social justice.

Professor Abdullah Abu Kishk gave a comprehensive presentation about Al-Zaytouna University for Science and Technology, in which he discussed the history of the university’s establishment and stages of development, in addition to an overview of the university’s colleges and its distinguished academic programs that meet the needs of the labor market. He also reviewed the university’s future development plans and its vision in promoting technological, creative and research education in a way that serves the sons of the Palestinian people.

During the meeting, Mr. Khalil Khalil emphasized Al-Zaytouna University for Science and Technology’s relentless pursuit of supporting learning and education, and investing in our students. He spoke about the importance of the fund and the mechanism for supporting students and providing educational grants for a better future, as the association aims to support the resilience of Palestinian students by supporting them in the field of education.

The students expressed their gratitude for the scholarships and their positive impact on their academic and professional development. They also thanked the supporting organizations that assist them in completing their studies, providing them with psychological and financial support throughout their university life.

During the meeting, the delegation toured the university campus to learn about the university facilities and the surrounding area. These meetings are part of Al-Zaytuna University of Science and Technology’s ongoing efforts to provide financial support to students and ensure the continuation of their education, especially in light of the difficult economic conditions. The meeting concluded with the honoring of the association’s board of directors.
