Al-Zaytuna University signs a memorandum of understanding with the National Security Forces to enhance academic and community cooperation.

Al-Zaytouna University for Science and Technology signed a memorandum of understanding with the Palestinian National Security Forces – Public Relations Department, during a visit by a National Security delegation to the university.

The memorandum was signed in the presence of the President of Al-Zaytouna University for Science and Technology, Professor Daoud Al-Zaatari, Dr. Fahoum Al-Shalabi, Vice President for Financial and Administrative Affairs, and Dr. Islam Ayadi, Head of Public Relations.

Also present from the National Security Forces were Lieutenant Colonel Tariq Taqatqa, Director of the Public Relations Department at the National Security Forces Command; Lieutenant Colonel Nidal Riyahi, Director of Academic Affairs in Public Relations; and Major Saeed Shuqair, Director of Public Relations at the Salfit District Command.

This memorandum aims to strengthen cooperation between the two parties and explore mechanisms for implementing awareness and educational programs that serve students and the local community, in addition to organizing joint activities in the areas of discipline, civil peace, and volunteer work.

During the signing ceremony, Professor Daoud Al-Zaatari emphasized the importance of this partnership in instilling the concepts of good citizenship and national belonging in students, and in enhancing the societal role of educational and security institutions in serving the nation and its citizens.

This step comes within the framework of Al-Zaytuna University’s vision aimed at opening up to local community institutions and national bodies, and building bridges of cooperation that contribute to supporting the educational process and sustainable community development.
