Al-Zaytuna University signs an agreement with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to benefit its students from the Student Loan Fund.

The President of Al-Zaytuna University for Science and Technology, Professor Daoud Al-Zaatari, signed a cooperation agreement today at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education with the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Professor Amjad Barham. This agreement will allow university students to benefit from student loans provided by the Student Loan Fund for Higher Education Institutions in Palestine, similar to other Palestinian universities and colleges.

Professor Al-Zaatari emphasized that this significant agreement will enable university students to access the interest-free loans offered by the Fund, thus alleviating their financial burdens and supporting their academic journey. He commended the Ministry’s considerable efforts in serving the higher education sector and improving its outcomes.

For his part, Professor Barham stressed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting and empowering Palestinian students to complete their university education, highlighting the strategic role of the Student Loan Fund in helping thousands of students continue their academic pursuits.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Director General of the Student Loan Fund, Ms. Ghadeer Hathnawi.

It is worth mentioning that the Student Loan Fund provides interest-free loans to undergraduate and diploma students in Palestinian higher education institutions who are unable to pay tuition fees, to be repaid after graduation and obtaining employment through easy monthly installments.
