In line with the vision of the Faculty of Business Administration at Al-Zaytoonah University of Science and Technology, which aims to enhance applied learning and connect theoretical concepts with real-world practices, the Supply Chain and Transportation Department organized a field trip to the Bin Azhaiman Chain Company factory in Ramallah.
The visit program included specialized presentations from various departments within the company, covering supply chain, procurement, quality standards, and marketing. Students also toured the production lines, gaining firsthand experience of operational processes and workflow in a real industrial environment.
The visit was characterized by the students’ active participation and insightful questions, reflecting a high level of academic awareness and a keen interest in understanding the challenges and opportunities within supply chains and transportation. This contributed to broadening their understanding and enriching their educational experience.
Dr. Saleh Amarna, the Faculty Coordinator, extends his gratitude to the management of Bin Azhaiman Chain Company for their warm welcome and cooperation during the visit, and for their positive impact on supporting educational outcomes and connecting students with the realities of logistics and production, as well as the challenges of the local market. Thanks are due to the instructor of the Introduction to Supply Chain, Transportation and Procurement course, Professor Mazen Assi, and to the participants in the visit, Dr. Abdullah Qabaj and Professor Munib Rahal.
