Al-Zaytuna University for Science and Technology signs a strategic partnership agreement with PALPAY to provide it with the latest digital transformation solutions.

Al-Zaytoonah University for Science and Technology signed a strategic partnership agreement with PALPAY Prepaid Payment Systems, a subsidiary of Bank of Palestine Group, to provide the university with the latest digital transformation solutions and services.

The agreement was signed at the company’s headquarters on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, by Professor Dr. Daoud Al-Zaatari, President of the University, and Mr. Thaer Hamayel, General Manager of PALPAY, in the presence of Professor Musa Jaabeh, Chairman of the University’s Board of Directors, Dr. Samer Atieh, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs, and representatives from the Arab Islamic Bank and PALPAY.

The agreement aims to enhance electronic payment services at the university, including tuition payments and various financial transactions via POS terminals and the “My Wallet” application, in addition to free Visa cards and e-commerce services. This will reduce the burden on students and their families and provide them with modern and secure payment solutions.

Professor Dr. Daoud Al-Zaatari affirmed that this partnership aligns with the university’s strategic vision to provide a modern educational environment that leverages financial technology and keeps pace with global developments. He noted that introducing digital payment solutions is consistent with the university’s commitment to serving its students and facilitating their academic and financial transactions.

For his part, Mr. Thaer Hamayel expressed PALPAY’s pride in this collaboration with Al-Zaytouna University, emphasizing the company’s commitment to providing the latest digital payment solutions that enhance service efficiency and support the digital transformation and financial inclusion efforts of universities and educational institutions.
