Al-Zaytouna University for Science and Technology in Salfit announced ten scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year, aimed at high-achieving high school graduates from the Salfit Governorate. This initiative supports the educational process, strengthens student resilience, and encourages academic excellence in the governorate.
The scholarships were launched at the behest of Professor Dr. Daoud Al-Zaatari, President of the University, in cooperation with the Salfit Governorate. Governor Mustafa Taqatqa announced the scholarships, which include five full scholarships (100%) for students with a 90% average or higher, and five partial scholarships (50%) for students with an average below 90%. Recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 80% throughout their studies.
These scholarships cover all majors offered at the university, with the exception of nursing. Applications can be submitted through the Salfit Governorate office.
Dr. Islam Ayadi, Public Relations Officer, represented the university at the meeting, emphasizing the importance of partnerships between the university and national institutions to support the local community.
University President Professor Dr. Daoud Al-Zaatari affirmed that Al-Zaytouna University strives to provide a comprehensive educational environment that contributes to preparing students and integrating them into the job market, despite existing challenges. This is achieved through a distinguished academic and professional staff and modern university facilities that meet students’ aspirations.
