Al-Zaytuna University for Science and Technology signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ghadeer Future Accelerators Company to enhance continuing education programs in technological fields. This aligns with the university’s commitment to supporting applied education and developing digital skills through effective partnerships with the private sector that contribute to serving the local community and supporting economic development.

The MoU was signed at the university headquarters in the presence of Professor Dr. Daoud Al-Zaatari, President of the University; Dr. Samer Bali, Dean of the Intermediate Technical College; and Dr. Samer Atieh, Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs. Representing Ghadeer Future Accelerators Company were Mr. Majed Jawhari, CEO, Ms. Lina Freitekh, Business Development Manager, and several other company employees.

The MoU aims to implement specialized and professional training programs in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies through the university’s Continuing Education Center. The university will provide academic and organizational oversight for these programs, while Ghadeer Future Accelerators Company will act as an implementing partner, handling the technical and operational aspects to ensure program quality and alignment with labor market needs.

During the signing ceremony, the two parties also discussed prospects for future cooperation and expanding partnerships to serve the local community and contribute to national economic development. This includes enhancing trainees’ skills, preparing young people for the job market, and boosting employment opportunities in promising technology sectors.

Both sides emphasized the importance of this partnership in supporting the applied education system and aligning training outcomes with market needs. This will enhance employment and entrepreneurship opportunities and support the transition to a knowledge-based economy driven by innovation and technology.
